I was honoured to moderate the Film & Media session at the Mail & Guardian inaugural Youth Summit. Held on the 27th of June 2024. The summit is an expansion of the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans initiative flagship.
The Film & Media breakaway room was a refreshing dialogue on the state of our local industry. The panellists shared knowledge about their experiences in the South African Film & Media industry and answered the youths questions with grace and wisdom. This generation is creating opportunities for themselves! Making things happen with what they have. Every audience member who asked a question first introduced themselves and the project they were spearheading. It was refreshing to witness.
